Use info from a dump to populate another sheet

    Hi All!

I'm quite new to all this vba stuff, and I have quite a complicated task I want to achieve. This costs me and my work collegues a lot of man hours, that would be better spent being more productive in other areas. However I need pointing in the right direction to get started!

What I want to achieve is to be able to dump some information of our database in one sheet, and then run a macro that will use that information to search for the relevant information in another sheet, find a range of data with the relevant values, and then copy&paste the corresponding information onto another template sheet.

I don't know how clear that was to understand, if you need a better explaination let me know!

I'm sure this can be done, but it's nearly impossible to give more catered advice without additional information. What does the information look like when extracted from the database? What does the resultant spreadsheet(s) look like? What types of criteria must be considered?

To best help, I'd recommed posting a sample workbook(s) to allow members to test code. If the data is confidential or sensitive, replace it with dummy data

    TEMPLATE2.xlsx

    I hope that's attached correctly

I've drafted up a small example of what the data would be like, since I work with confidential information I haven't provided it exactly as it will appear, and i have left out departments. I'm sure once I'm pointed in the right direction with this, I'll be able to do the work to get it to work with all the information as the concept is exactly the same, just with much more information.

Basically, the dump sheet lists the department sizes within a store and the store name, the data sheet contains all the information for every department size option. I want only the correct department size options to be copied into the correct places on template sheet. Please note! that the store doesn't always have the same dump order, and neither does the data sheet, so where HH appears with one store, another store it will be further down list, or higher up. This is due to the way our database outputs the data and how often it is updated, and cannot be fixed unless we enter all the information manually, however this can produce human error, which hopefully this macro should help to avoid.

If anyone can help that would be brilliant!
