Getting all unique combinations with in a collection?

Hi,

I'm stuck trying to think of a way to workout all possible unique combinations of data within a set of data. All of my attempts so far are either incomplete or don't produce unique results, but all attempt have been successful at giving me a headache. I'm hoping the following explains my dilemma...

I can do this if numInEachCombo is always 2 but I need a function that can also give me the following results if numInEachCombo = 3

From what I see you don't want order to be changed, but why is acd not present?
