Comparing a column in different workbooks

Hi !

I have workbook 1 with 6 worksheets and workbook 2 with one worksheet only.

What I want is,Column B from 5th worksheet of workbook 1 to be compared with Column D of worksheet 2.

Can anybody help please? Its a little urgent.

I plan to make a macro with two browse buttons for file names and then a COMPARE button to compare two columns as stated above. Also,the different values are to be listed somewhere-like in a .txt file

To Attach a File:

1. Click on Go Advanced
2. In the frame Attach Files you will see the button Manage Attachments
3. Click the button.
4. A new window will open titled Manage Attachments - Excel Forum.
5. Click the Browse... button to locate your file for uploading.
6. This will open a new window File Upload.
7. Once you have located the file to upload click the Open button. This window will close.
8. You are now back in the Manage Attachments - Excel Forum window.
9. Click the Upload button and wait until the file has uploaded.
10. Close the window and then click Submit.

Column B in Workbook 1 has following data:
1072
1034
1089

Column D of worksheet 2 has following data:
1072
1034

I have another workbook-workbook3 open now where I have created 2 buttons for browsing files...i.e workbooks to be compared and that on clicking COMPARE button that I have created here,I should be able to compare the two columns stated. Since I am doing it for a customized usage,The column B and D to be compared remain unchanged.

What I want is a VB code for comparing these columns from two workbooks which will be browsed by user and result to be displayed in Sheet2 i.e the next Sheet of the workbook 3

here in the sample I wrote, I would want unmatching data 1089 to be stored in sheet2 of workbook 3.

Also,data in Columns B and D i.e data to be compared is numeric
