what is your goal ? can you attach a sample ?

If the latter is one column always the longest (if so which) or does it vary?

Thanks for replying. I've tried to attach an example (slightly different to my actual worksheet as its confidential info) but the priciple of the problem is the same for the included macroBook1.xlsm....

If doing it as a single liner I prefer to do it as per below (mainly because if I don't see the actual workbook I never trust that there aren't any blank cells).
I don't normally do a one-liner as I prefer to keep the last row for future use in the program (just my preference)
