    Stock control user form "database" in Excel 2007

    Hi,

    I have a list of ~300 items that need to be manually controlled, stock-wise.
    What i would like to do is the following:

    1. Have a user form created, for data input (whenever a new item is added to the list - to be added to the stock-count via a user form); fields required would be "Code", "Supplier Code", "Description" and "Qty"

    2. Have a user form created, for whenever pieces are taken out of stock, with the updating of the stock done in real time, whenever pieces are used. That would imply being able to choose a certain item from a predefined list of stock items, based on at least one of the first 3 fields mentioned at the previous point.

    3. Have a "warning" pop-up (or something of the kind) - whenever a certain item drops below a predefined stock level.

    4. Have the possibility to generate some kind of reporting, based on the above mentioned fields, at any given time. (this step is optional...)

    Any help would be greatly appreciated, as i have absolutely no experience using these user-form/database features of Excel

    Thanks a lot in advance,
    Radu

    Mmmk.... I see there have been almost 2 months since my initial post - and no answer yet

    I will try to simplify things a little, maybe I can "trick" some of the less experienced of you to help...

    What i need is a user form, structured like this:

    Item supplier code = Combo Box with a list of predefined items
    Project = Text field
    Date = Text field
    Quantity = Text field

    Command button = Add record to database
    Command button = Close form

    The info introduced through this form should be added to a database, in a separate sheet.

    That should be it...

    Please, please, please help out... I'm a bit desperate already....

    Thanks,
    Radu
