Data Validation List

Hello:

I have Identical Data Validation list in sheet1 (Cell B3) and sheet2 (Cell B3)

I need a way so that what ever i choose from dropdown list in sheet2, automatically gets selected in dropdown list of sheet1.

Please help me with this...

Work with defined names.

Excel 2007 => data => define names

By choosing the client from drop list in Cell A3, i need the same clint to flow in Summary sheet Cell B3

In sheet Graph I made the drop down list.

See the orange cell on the sheet Graph

Excel 2007 => formula => define names

The defined name is ClinicCode and refers to

=ClinicCode!$A$1:$A$290

Excel 2007 => data => datavalidation => list

= ClinicCode

Then you can choose the clinic code out of the list ClinicCode.

If not found you get an error (STOP).

See the green cell on sheet Summary

It shows the value of sheet Graph!A3
