XML Map for SQL to Excel Joomla Component

I have a Joomla site which contains front-end tables.

I've discovered a component which will allow me to upload Excel xml files, which in turn I can convert into front-end tables on my site.

I don't know much about schemas but I did download and install the XML tools for Excel 2003. (I'm using v 2007).

Playing around with it I highlighted a range of cells which I refer to as dataset.

I indicated that the top row consisted of headings (although only one cell in the range has a heading).

I get an error: "1B6 This Object does Not Support This Property or Method."

When I close out of the error popup, I can see that the xml tool did create filters for each column.

I'm attaching the worksheet in .xls form. Any advice?

    Thanks.

Re: XML Map for SQL to Excel

My problem has nothing to do with Joomla .. but other than that .. my problem sounds idenitical to the OP.

I am trying to generate an xml file from Excel 2007 and get the same error message.

    "fnMapRangeWithXml"
"ERROR 1B6: Object doesn't support this property or method."

    pls help!!

hi Arlette ... i now understand that those are your rules ... . i laughed when i read "a thread with numerous replies" ... given that the OP has received ZERO replies in 16 months. I'm guessing that they are no longer waiting for a reply. You have a great day, and I'm sorry for breaking your rules.
