I need to know how do I edit a file that was saved as myFile.xlm
I downloaded the editor of Andy ribbons pope
But I can not edit an existing file, that is, all I have in the spreadsheet to not have to do it again.

If your problem is solved, please say so clearly, and mark your thread as Solved: Click the Edit button on your first post in the thread, Click Go Advanced, select b from the Prefix dropdown, then click Save Changes. If more than two days have elapsed, the Edit button will not appear -- ask a moderator to mark it.

Thanks to both! happens that I'm using a file (in my work Excel 2010), where it built my project. poerém now after all is done I try to disable two guides, I can only do this by generating another file. I need to do this in my project, if you do not have to do my project again.

maybe try explaining the problem again-I'm afraid I have no idea what you've tried or why you can't use the CustomUI editor to do it.

What I need is to disable the tab 'Home' tab and 'develop' my ribbon.
I can do it!
However the file is saved as a new file with these tabs disabled.
In my case I have a project already desennvolvido, where it has forms and routines.
I would like to disable the tabs without having to do all my project again
so why can't you just copy the customui.xml code from one workbook to the other using the CustomUI editor?

When trying to download and use the editor made by Andy Pope.
Does any 'reference' What's missing?
I'm using windows XP and Excel 2007
Is generating the following error ..
Compile error in hidden module: FRibbonDesigner
Do you have all the libraries specified on the web page?
Do you have addins enabled as specified on the web page?
Have you tried the MS Security patch fix as specified on the web page?
It's confusing as you say you have xl2007 and the xl2007 version of the editor but you are working in xl2010

I have in my work the xl2010. in this case I have no problem
The problem I am having is at home with xl2007.
in fact what it is.
I would like to know is if your editor, I can get a file where in it I have a project already developed after that edit the Developer tab.
when I try to do this, I have to create a new file.
More so I'll have to redo my whole project.

If you have placed your ribbon xml in the xl2010 (CustomUI14) section of the file then you will not see it in xl2007.
My editor will only allow you to view/edit the customui14 section if you are using xl2010.
The customUI editor is not so fussy as it does not use Excel at all.
