    Exclamation Dropdown Box Problem

    hello all,

I am working on a configurator in excel. My task is to redesign the configurator according to new chart selection to pick the right part no from chart. I wrote program to connect new chart with selection spot (where I'll get my new part no.). And after I saved it, the program still works, but there are sevearl dropdown boxes in the whole configurator to select some criteria are not working properly. Those boxes moved from there original places and got shrink, they just scattered randomly which is weird.

    Any help in this regard?

Have you taken a look at the properties of the dropdown boxes? If you right click on the drop down and then select "Format Control", then select the properties tab there should be options to help with this. Make sure move and size with cells is not selected. From your question above it seems like Don't move or size with cells should be the option you select.

    Hey,

RVASQUEZ, thanks for your reply but I tried with suggested option. Previously it was move but don't size with cells. I mark on don't move and size with cells. But after I saved it and tried to reopen it gave me same problem like all squeezed and scattered. I then right click on one of the boxes and go to properties, it got changed to 'move but don't size with cells' even though I marked each and every boxes ' don't move and size with cells'. One thing I did not do when I was making change in properties and that is I did not hit print object button. Do you think it matters?

I am getting serious problem here.

Have you tried editing the properties and then resaving it as another filename? Don't ask me why but sometimes this fixes the problem.
