Basic - Count number of rows with data

Hello,

I am looking for vba code that will count the number of rows that have data in them. I know real basic, but just starting out. I don't want the vba code to go through the entire worksheet if it doesn't have to to help speed up the processing time. This would be part of a bigger code project.
