I have a similar query
I need to compare a colum of numbers in colum A with the contents on the server directory. They are currently named the same as the colum A item in pdf format. I tried the suggestions with no luck. I then thought it was the server desitination so mapped a drive but still get no file found answer. I have attached the file I am working on.

I have moved your post to a new thread. While you question is to the one here.It appears you are looking for files not folders.
This macro will find the files in the specified folder that are in PDF format using the names in column "A". You will need to change the file path and worksheet name to match what you are using.They are currently named the same as the colum A item in pdf format.
