Macro to convert decimals into slashes in Column A

Hi, I am looking for a simple macro to convert the decimals in colum A to forward slashes.

eg) 2008.08.08 would be converted to 2008/08/08

Any help would be greatly appreciated..thanks

1) Turn on the macro recorder, give the new macro a useful name before pressing OK
2) Highlight column A
3) Press CTRL-H to open the REPLACE window
4) Fill in the FIND and REPLACE strings and click Replace All
5) Turn off the macro recorder


You now have a macro that accompishes that for you on column A only.

If you want to create a macro that accomplishes that on ANY column you select, then swap instructions 1 & 2 above. The resulting macro would work on any selected column since you didn't record the "selection".
