As for tadPP function, you are correct in saying that it is not a standard Excel function. Excel's financial functions date back to the days of Lotus 1-2-3 (circa 1990) and Microsoft's take over of the office productivity tools with its release of Windows 3.0 by using the advantage that they control the OS market
Thus most or almost all of the financial functions that exist in Excel are those that were found in other spreadsheet programs that were once popular
