Defined name ranges to apply for entire document

    Hello,

I have created a couple of ranges for rows to hide. But even when I set the scope on 'workbook' the range only applies to the sheet I have made the selection on! This is pretty frustrating!

When I add a worksheet the range does not work on that sheet!

What do I need to do!

    Thanks

    Robert

the scope of the name refers to "visibility" of the name, i.e. if you define name with scope workbook, you can use it in every worksheet in this workbook. It doesn't mean that when you define name that refers to range A1:A5 for example it will refer to every range A1:A5 on every worksheet.
