    Excel many conditions forumula

    Good afternoon,

It´s my first time posting so I will try to be clear

I need a forumula that tell me :
if the value in C2 is bigger than the cell H2+20%, I want the word "RISK"
if the value in C2 is smaller than the value in cell H2, I want the word "SAFE"
if the value is lower than H2+20%, I want the word "RULE 20%"

I´ve done this but it doesn´t work
    =IF(LEN(C2)>(H2+(H2*0,2));"RISK",IF(LEN(C2)>(H2+(H2*0,2)),"SAFE"),IF(LEN(C2)<(H2+(H2*0,2);"20%RULE"))

Can anybody help me please ? I´m getting lost in trying things with no sense...

    Cheers,
    Suzzi

    Re: Excel many conditions forumula

Remove the "Len" from your formula. Len is used to find the length of the characters in the cell. It wont check the value of the cell.

    Try

    =IF(C2<H2,"SAFE",IF(C2<H2*1.20,"RULE 20%","RISK"))
Where there is a will there are many ways.

Did you adjust the formula to your regional settings?

    Maybe you need: =IF(C2<H2;"SAFE";IF(C2<H2*1,20;"RULE 20%";"RISK"))

Should you replace the IF with your language's translation of IF?

    =SI(C2<H2;"SAFE";SI(C2<H2*1,20;"RULE 20%";"RISK"))

    Re: Excel many conditions forumula

and you are getting #żNOMBRE? error ? That's strange.

Then maybe try retyping all the words with quotes again (incl. quotes). Sometimes the translation might mess up.
