    Search for empty row Auto Sum multiple columns

    I need to search for an empty row of cells, and then sum the columns A through H. Then go to the next empty row and repeat the sum. Or search for the "start" and "end" in column "I" then place the sum of columns A through H in the empty row. Please reference the attached example. Whatever is easier, I need the sum of columns A through H placed in the empty rows.

    Thanks

    Using your posted workbook...
    • Select A1:H14
    • F5...(shortcut for the Go To window)
    ...Click: Special
    ...Check: Blanks
    ...Click: OK
    • ALT+=

    Done...The autosums will be put in each empty cell

    Is that something you can work with?

    Thanks Ron,

    I was hoping to use a macro to do this. So far I have this code, but I can't get it to loop to the next empty row without it running forever.

    Sub Autosumafterblank()
    Dim c As Range
    Dim Rng As Range
    Dim i As Integer

    For i = 1 To 8 Step 1

    Set c = Cells(1, i).End(xlDown).Offset(1, 0)

    Set Rng = Range(Cells(1, i), c.Offset(-2, 0))

    c.Formula = "=SUMIF(" & Rng.Address(False, False) & ",""<>#VALUE!"")"
    c.Font.Bold = True

    Next i

    End Sub
