Formula to covert kms per hr into min per km (with seconds vice a percentage)

Hi,


Can you provide me with a formula that will convert kms/hr into min/km?

I know I can divide 60 into kms/hr and get the mins/km, such as: 60 min / 10 kph = 6 min/ km. But what I would like is to be able to also have the remainder converted into seconds. So if I divide a number like 14.3 kph into 60 min then I get 4.1958 min per km - but I want the .1958 part to show as seconds vice a percentage of a minute.

Assuming your speed (14.3kph) is in cell A1, put this formula =(60/A1)/1440 where you need and custom format to mm:ss .

You should get 04:12 as your answer....
