Question how can i automate mathematic formulas spreading across columns?

Hi. I am new here. I don't know exactly where to post this. Hopefully someone can help me.

I have attached an example of what I want to do. Basically, I want each "C" to be subtracted from each corresponding "D" and if applicable, I want each "F" subtracted also for a total "time spent" kind of deal ("F" or breaks don't count as time). I know it would be easy to manually do it in this particular file, but my real file is quite more substantial.

Sorry if this is a noob question. I am a noob. Thanks!

I don't think automation is necessary. In say column H, row 2 ("H2") enter:

You can copy this down as far as your actual file data will go.

    1. Make a copy of your workbook and run the following code on your copy (just in case)
    2. With excel open, press ALT+F11 to open the Visual Basic Editor (VBE). From the "Insert" menu, select "Module".
    3. Paste the code from above into the empty white space. Close the VBE.
    4. From the developer tab, choose "Macros", select the Sub Name, and click "Run".
