Search and display

Hi my first post and thank you for welcoming me onto your site ok here goes...
I have a cell H10 for instance where i enter the surname of my client
i would like a macro to get the info fron this cell and search down colum b10 onwards locate the surname and display the full line the selected surname is on, pretty basic for someone but its stumped me for weeks..

Unfortunatley i cant give customers surnames in a file sorry also our firewall her wont allow up to upload files.
alls it is i want to enter a name eg Smith and i want a macro to search A colum of surnames say b colum and goto the line with the details on

Sorry you can tell I'm new yes I understand we also place a unique ref at end of name hope this helps sorry for being vague

I place the customers postcode at the end of there surname so I need a macro to work to get the details I enter into the cell and search the colum for corresponding wording and goto that line to save me scrolling down a very long list I could use auto filter but I want to have a macro so I can attach it to a button for ease as some staff arnt IT savey hope this helps

Jraj1106 thats brill but i need it to bring the sheet down so the line is displayed near the top so when i have 10000 entries after clicking macro the line with the data on will show and i wont have to scroll down but loving the response thanks
