    in the where you want the data shown, just type the reference...or open the other file (just once off), type = then point to the cell onthe other workbook, and press enter

    something like...
    ='[referencesheetname.xlsx]Sheet1'!$A$1

    But i need to constantly update the values. Like every time I open the workbook. How can I do that?
