    How to enable macros automatically?

    Hey,

Am trying to get a document to open up automatically every night, update and then transfer the updated numbers to another document. But how do I ensure that macros are allowed - without anybody pressing an "allow macro"-button?

    Thanks!

Its not possible as this is a built in safety feature . You would need to leave to the document open and click enable macro before you leave

File | Options | Trust center
click the Trust center settings button
Select the Trusted locations section and put the file in one of those listed folders or add a new location.

In excel 2010 you press the "File" tab in left corner when in Excel. Then choose "Options". Then "Trust Center". Then "Trust Center Settings". Then "Trusted Locations" and from there you can add a trusted location.
