Converting .jif,.png.jpg images data into excel for editing

Hi All,

From last one week I am struggling with one problem.
I have data available in image and would like to use that data in excel for further calculations.

For example:

I have created a excel sheet of students marks:

Student Science Maths English Civic Biology Physics Total

Shekhar 55 78 71 68 76 74 422
Hari 59 68 78 71 73 69 418
Nihal 76 58 82 67 59 73 415
Kewal 83 75 73 68 63 67 429

After taking a print out I have removed the excel from my computer and now have to edit some scores in the list.
To avoid creating another data set, I have scanned this document and convert it in .PNG (file).
Now I would like to use this .PNG file in excel by extracting entire data from picture image in excel cells for further editing.


Can somebody help me by doing this via VBA or VB?
Let me know if any other detail required apart from uploading the file, as I have some restrictions of uploading any file.

Thanks for the reply, however I am looking forward to complete this exercise only with Excel programming.
