    isfilelocked on Win7 & Vista...

    The following:

    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    Will report as FALSE under windows XP, but in Windows 7 or Vista it will always report back as TRUE (ie, the file is locked - means is in use by another user / application).

    I can even add a workbooks.open command at the end to prove it and it will open up just fine with read/write access and no errors. Why does this work perfectly in XP but not in Vista or Windows 7?
