Chart Functionality when Worksheet is Protected

I have a chart which updates its data source using a ComboBox. All works as expected, however, once the worksheet is 'Protected', although I can still select options from the ComboBox, the graph will no longer update and this error is generated.

How do I continue to allow the source data for the graph to be updated when the worksheet is protected?
