how to get data into different workbooks

    Hello,
In the attached excel file, groups follow a pattern, with a new group for every 6 elements.
I need to create different samples of these groups into different workbooks. Example pick the first 2 elements of each group into one work book. ( so there will be Amy,Alan,Bea, Brenda,Carrie,Carol) in this. Pick the next 2 elements of each group into another workbook(Aron,Allen,Brad,Brick,Chad,Charles)etc etc.
    Is this possible?
Alternatively instead of putting them in separate work books just total the amounts in the first 2 elements of each group , then total the amounts in the next 2 elements in each group and so on.
The actual file has many many more groups with 256 elements in each group.
    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks

    Re: Programming help please

Your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution. Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.
To change a Title on your post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.

    Hope that helps.
