problem with printing

i have a long multi page spreadsheet which when i print to 'fit to page', it leaves a large blank area to the right side when it should stretch the numbers out from side to side. the print is so small now that i can't read it.

it is as if there used to be some data in that area that no longer exists but Excel is still reserving the print area for it.

how do i make it go away so it prints side to side?

From your Main Menu Select View. Then click in the Page Break Preview Ribbon. You will see Blue line that represent the Printing Boundaries; adjust them by dragging them to select only the area you want to print. Also, You may want to go to File->Print then select Page Setup and make sure you don't have selected the Fit to 1 page option.
