Isolated a very strange 2003 'type mismatch' error. Any ideas please?

Hi,

I have made a spreadsheet in 2007 but in 2003 I get this very odd error. I've managed to isolate it in the attached example - here's the code:

I get a type mismatch on the match function if I've looked at the seriescollection.count before.

Any ideas what is causing this or workarounds gratefully received.

Thanks nilem but I cannot test this as I an now back home without 2003. However, I doubt it will help as the code works fine without the 'chart' line. I've found a couple of things since I posted this:

- selecting a cell in the code after the chart line solves the issue
- putting a delay (application.wait) after the chart line causes the code to freeze then execute correctly when escape is pressed

I think this is a genuine 2003 bug around the application being caught up in the seriescollection somehow.
