    Automatically Hide Duplicate Items

We have a workbook that allow us to select a switchboard (In green box) in the "commissioning" sheet and it will display a list of items from "Fire Mode" sheet. What we would like to do now is when it displays the list of items on the "commissioning" sheet it automatically hides duplicates. Duplicates filter items to be picked from "Suffix" or "B column" & "#" or "C column". We need to group the "B & C" columns together and if it finds a duplicate it only shows 1 item hiding the other item. Is this possible? I have attached our workbook to make it easier to understand.

In the attached workbook you will see 2 items are the same in the commissiong sheet for switchboard number 5.

    Re: Automatically Hide Duplicate Items

Hi jraj1106, sorry we didn't explain correctly. We would like to hide the duplicate but display only 1 off the duplicates ie: if there are 2 duplicates the it will only show 1.... if there are 3 duplicates it will show only 1 and so on. With the button you put in the sheet once we pushed it and we change the switchboard number it doesn't display all the items relating to the switchboard. Hope this make sense. If we can have something that by select the switchboard number it automatically check for duplicates, displays one of the duplicates and the other none duplicate items, if no duplicates are found it displays all… Thanks for your help

    Re: Automatically Hide Duplicate Items

Hi we tried to copy it into another workbook with some problems so we have created more data in our test one. Just like the commissioning sheet we have a "Air ON Notice" sheet. This is where we need this function in our other workbook but what we have found is, it will work for the first one and not the following ones. We have over 1000 lines in our good workbook. Anyway if you can have a look at the attached workbook and under the AIR ON Notice sheet see if we can get it to work there.... this time we are looking at the A & B coloumn. Thanks again for your help.
