Hi guys,
I've been on excel all day and still can't find a solution to my design needs!! arrgh, can someone please help!
The issue is....
Cell B6 currently set to 0.
This column is named QTY INSTALLED
Cell E6 which has a fixed value of 10.
Column D is named STOCK LEFT
Column E is named STOCK KEPT (constant Value never changed)
I have the formula set up so it =E6-B6 This formula is entered in cell D6.
The vision for this sheet is for each individual job to be logged i.e STOCK LEFT to be constantly updated.
So if 2 unit are used (2 entered into cell B6 ) D6 will show 8 remaining units.
But When it comes to save the sheet. I need B6 to return to 0 but D6 to remain as it was.So when i log another job the stock left is adjusted say 3 more units used D6 will show 5.
The range is from B6-B100 D6-D100
Is there a way to do this. I apologise for my ignorance and possibly confusing explanation as im a novice when it comes to programming. But any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks Mike
