' character in front of text in cells!

    Hi,

I made a Visual Basic program to create a workbook and add data in cells. The program use exel as a table. Everything is fine except i always got a ' character in front of text fields... I am not sure if this is a Visual Basic bug or if the character mean something special in excel.

Someone already seen that in excel?

Im using excel 2010, and here is a sample of what the excel looks like:

    ExcelData1.xls

The appostrophe before the text means that the contents of the cell is to be formatted as text. I don't know how you generated the excel table so I can't comment further.
