Hi all,
Can someone point me in the direction of getting rid of the Menu Ribbon in Excel2007-via code? It was very easily done in the earlier versions of Excel when there was no Ribbon.
Many thanks in advance.

It's "Excel4Macro", not 14.
Old stuff still built into Excel from many eons ago that I have no clue about, to be honest. I just know there are various uses for it and Google helps! Not sure if it's still in Excel 2010 since I don't have that version.
To view the Excel 4.0 Macro help file you can download the macrofun.exe file from Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com/download/en...ang=en&id=1465). Install and create a folder for the contents, then run the HLP file.
Note: If you're using Windows Vista or newer (or Server 2008+) you'll need to download Windows' Help File viewer to view HLP files. That can be downloaded here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/917607
@ Mordred,

In my experience more people use something like this without thinking about restoring the features that they have turned off.
