    EXCEL - VBA - Check USERFORM changes

    Hello,

    I have a USERFORM with lots of objects (textboxes, dropdowns, etc.). I also have a "locked" OK button that I want to activate only if everything is filled properly.

    How can I check that? I need some sort of event that will take place each time something changes so I have:

    Sub USERFORM_EVENT()
    if ALL DATA IS FILLED CORRECTLY Then Button.Enabled = True Else Button.Enabled = False
    End Sub

    Thanks,

    Yona

    Hello Yona,

    Since there is no event like you describe, you will need to write a procedure to check your input data is correct. Each control will need to call the procedure and pass its status (valid or not valid) to the procedure. The procedure can the determine if the "OK" button can be unlocked.
    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross

    That's what I feared ... thanks for helping (will simply make the button enabled and call the procedure when clicked :-( )
