Confirm my understanding of Application.EnableEvents = False

Can someone confirm my understanding, does the following code mean whenever any cell in the spreadsheet changes this macro will be executed!

If my understanding is correct, what does the following do?

Thanks for changing your title (I assume it's OK to respond to your post now).

The Worksheet_Change event is called every time a cell changes on the worksheet with which the macro is associated. There is also a workbook level version, Workbook_SheetChange, which is called whenever a cell in any sheet in the workbook is changed.

Setting EventsEnabled=False turns off the calls to all of the event driven macros, including the those above.
