Paste sum per unique value

Hi

In attached workbook you'll find 2 sheets, i.e. Workfile and Raw_data.
I want it to automatically do following 2 things:

1. In the Raw_data tab it should make a sum of all quantities per unique detail number. (example: HESO11922 should give 1 line stating 3 as a qty). After that it should delete all duplicate detail number lines, except for the ones that has the total sum.

2. In the Workfile tab you'll see that the same detailnumber is also shown multiple times. All data should remain in the sheet, however it should paste the sum we got in step 1 and paste it in column D next to the first line showing a unique detail number. I've provided an example in the sheet with the HESO11922 (see step 1), which is in line 213 in the sheet.

I hope you guys can help me out here.

hi Tino XXL, formula solution just in case. Are you interested in getting result as on Workfile sheet or both of them?

Thank you very much for your help. In the end I decided to have a pivot table sum up the values per unique number.

For step 2 I used countif and a normal if function to define the unique detail numbers, and then combined a vlookup to that.
