I am creating a new spreadsheet for a restaurant tip out program. My issue arises when I am creating a formula for the tip out to the Bartenders. This is the way it works. The servers tip out the bar 5% of their beer and liquor sales. Some nights I will have 2 bartenders and some nights I will only have 1 bartender. I have created a spreadsheet that allows me to input the percentage to the bartenders if there is 1 or 2. If there is one bartender, he/she would receive the complete 5% from each server. If there are 2 bartenders, each would receive 2.5%. If the servers have any beer or liquor sales, they must tip a minimum of $2.00 to the bar. If there is 1 bartender, then he/she would receive the full $2.00 minimum. If there are 2 bartenders, each would receive a $1.00 minimum. I need to create a formula that allows me to round to a minimum of $2.00 if 1 bartender receives 5% or round up to a minimum of $1.00 if there are two bartenders. How would I create this formula? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
