    Combo Box- Background Colour

    Hi,

Please could someone tell me if its possible and how to make a selection in a combo box change the background colour of a block of cells. The form I am creating will have a combo box with the options "approved" and "not approved". When approved i would like a block of cells to turn green, and when not approved for them to turn red. If anyone could help me on this that would be great, thanks.

    Hi,
Are you talking about a userform or a 'form' on a worksheet?
    Good luck.

If it's a worksheet then use Data Validation & Conditional Formatting
    Hope that helps.

    Re: Combo Box- Background Colour

Thanks for the responses, this is a user form that is filled in by our customers, then returned to us. I will look into data validation and conditional formatting. AAF Template xxxx.xlsx I have attached it so you can see what i am talking about. I would like the grey cells behind the bag template to turn green/red when approved or not approved. In addition to this i need to make this form un-editable, so all the check boxes/combo boxes cannot be moved. Any additional help on this would be great. thanks.
