Matching and merging data to add one more column of data in one Excel doc to another

Hi Wonderful Excel Wizards! It's the counselor again with a new question. I have to merge SAT College Board data from an Excel doc that they sent us and merge the student's school ID to it.

The first data file contains thest columns)
    C: Last Name (R1)
    D: First Name (R1)
E: Birth Date (R2) xxxxxx (no slashes or dashes with the year being the last 2 numbers. The first four is two-number day followed by two-number month)
and other columns that are not really that helpful or matchable. HS ID number is not one of the columns but all the SAT scores are in this file.

The second data file contains these columns
    B: hs_student ID
    E: first_name
    H: last_name
    K: birthdate (xx/xx/xxxx)
and other columns but street address is not one of them nor is the telephone number one of them.

So I need to merge the "hs_student ID" found in the second data file to the first data file.

In order for the SAT data to upload into each student's account, I need to have the student ID number as a part of the file so that Naviance can match it to each student's account.

For the unmatched students, I can manually do that if there are not that many. We'll see.

If this is possible, then I can add the student's SAT data to the Naviance Family Connections and both students and parents can use this info for college matching.

As always, thank you very much for your time. Our students thank you too!
