    VBA help - simple code

    Hi VBAers,

Do you think is possible to write a code for the here-attached template (is macro-free for security)? macro template.xls

People have to fill-in this questionnaire and send it back. Every bulleted line has to be evaluated (in the grey areas only).

Since there is a double scaling system #1: NOT IN PLACE, PARTIALLY IN PLACE, FULLY IN PLACE #2: from 1 to 10
we would like to have a constrain which oblige to respect the following distribution (for every point, with regard to its relative sub-points):

NOT IN PLACE: 33% of answers lying in this section marked "1", 33% marked "2", 33% marked "3",

PARTIALLY IN PLACE: 25% of answers lying in this section marked "4", 25% marked "5", 25% marked "6", 25% marked "7",

FULLY IN PLACE: 33% of answers lying in this section marked "8", 33% marked "9", 33% marked "10".

So, for example, in the point 1 (the very first in the attached file), out of 13 points, it does not matter how the people distribute across the scaling system #1 (NOT IN PLACE, PARTIALLY IN PLACE, FULLY IN PLACE), but as long as they fill in for example:

4 answers in the section NOT IN PLACE, then they have to respect the distribution: 1 answer in "1", 2 answers in "2" and 1 answer in "3" (here we would like to allow two ansers in "2" otherwise we would not know how to deal with it!

6 answers in the section PARTIALLY IN PLACE, then they have to respect the distribution: for 25% each

3 answers in the section FULLY IN PLACE some thing.
    _______________
    tot: 13 answers

Ideally, we would like to oblige to get an answer for EVERY line. The idea is that if they don't respect the ratio, they cannot save, print, distribute or whatever.

Thank you guys, I really don't have a clue if this is possible or not!
    cheers

Hello egcasco, and welcome to the forum. Unfortunately ...

Your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution. Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.
To change a Title on your post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.

PLEASE PM WHEN YOU HAVE DONE THIS AND I WILL DELETE THIS POST

I think it would also help if you filled in (a copy of) the template with some typical data and the expected outcome; what is acceptable and what is not acceptable. This would help clarify what you mean.
