Hello Again,

I am trying to use a feature same as filter option. i want to search a field and get the result which is having the same search value.

Ex: if i type clinic/ not complete word which is clinic/polyclinic and press enter it will give me all the details which is having clinic/.

i hope this make you clear. my file have been attached for your reference.

thanks for your reply it is nearly to my requirement. but i have to search with the limited fields. Let say i want to get the same result for 02-6443240. then i cannot search for this.

You are welcome hecgroups...

If you want to search with the limited characters and multiple files like name, phone etc, you can use advance filter option of Excel and then you can use wildcards like *, ? etc.
See the inbuilt help of MS Excel to understand more on this.

Will it be possible to add the column name in which you want to search as one of the criteria along with the text box to search?
