Hello,
I need some guidance in creating a formula IN THE SAME cell that will multiply value in A1 AND roundup. For example, cell A1 displays us$500.00. In the next cell down, I want to display 60 percent of A1 and ROUNDUP the result. Is this possible?

Assuming you want to roundup to 2 decimal places:
=ROUNDUP(A1*0.6,2)
