Data lookup from another sheet

i need to be able to start typing in cell J11

and a drop down box will show matchs from another sheet

then click to choose correct entry

because validation list is in another sheet do firsts the following
highlgisht cells B1 to down in sheet "data"
click the name box left of formula bar., the first window in that row where usually the cell address is shown
type "llist" without quotes

mow right click of tab of the sheet "main form" and click view code and in the window that comes up copy paste this evesnt code

now you need not enter anything in J11 just select that box (whose address is actually J10:L11). automatically valildation arrow will come up

is this what you want.

keep the original file carefully somewhere for retrieval if necessary
