    Cool Lookup and Counting Data based on Month

    Trying to figure out the following:

    If worksheet Client Files column Y is within date range of cells B1 & D1 of worksheet Matt's Mthly Report, then average number of days in worksheet Client Files column AH and place answer in cell 4F of worksheet Matt's Mthly Report.

    Those using XL2007 and beyond would use AVERAGEIFS function.

    I tried but not sure where to put the code on the workbook to make this work. Also, have 2007 version so would use Averageifs function. Would want to calculate the entire month. Can you help? Thanks.

    the above would be a replacement of the Array suggestion(s) provided previously and should be used in preference to
