If color is red then message

Hi,

could anyone help me with the formula, i have cells with red,green and yellow colors..

if the celll is red the display expired and yellow display about to expire and green to active.

any help is appreciated.

Do you use a conditional formatting for the colors?..or not??

If Yes which are the formulas that you use in there??
