in the Sales B'down tab i need to count the Nº of clients per month on the business submitted tab i.e. the Nº of different ID numbers per month on the Bus. submitted tab. is there an easy way to do this by formula??

in the "Business Submitted" sheet, you are using merged cells across rows and columns. With these in place as column headers, any kind of analysis with formulas will be VERY difficult, if not impossible. Get rid of the merged cells, then it is possible to create a pivot table to summarise the data. But with the merged cells heading the table, this is not an option.
