Hello,
I had found an add-in to the Excel toolbar (here) that provided a number of options, one of which was "compare side by side". Does anyone know where I can locate finding the script for that ultimate add-in?

Good afternoon slipit1
Are you sure? I wrote Ultimate Add-In - get it from my home page via the link below, however, there isn't a compare side by side function though (there's lots of other nice stuff, though ...Originally Posted by slipit1

John Walkenbach's PUPv6 add-in does do this though (download the trial version free here), but you should register the program if you keeo it (the tool you want it PUP v6 > Auditing Tools > Compare Ranges)

Please familiarise yourself with the rules before posting. You can find them here.
I'm stuck with Excel 2000 in this office, but I'm sure that from 2003 the "compare side by side" feature is available from the Windows menu.
Hope that helps.

hello DominicB,
I actually thought I got that from your add-in? I do run 03. I tried to check your homepage to confirm and the link takes me to: http://www.shopica.com/search.php?q=...Hair+Magazines - not sure why, it also has a mouse over that shows the advertisment.
On a side note, I actually wanted the add-on for the comment box functions -which didn't work? I wanted to be able to create a comment in a workbook with multiple worksheets in one cell of a worksheet and it populate the same cell in all the other worksheets?
Hi slipit1
Can't explain why the link doesn't take you straight to my home page - it works fine for me.
You want to create a comment and the contents of that comment to be copied to that cell in other worksheets, or copy the comment to the same location in other sheets? ie copied to cells, or copied to comments? Which one?
DominicB
The prior, I am trying to not have to duplicate creating the same comment in different worksheets in the same cell multiple times.
Note: these worksheets are already created and have data in them, so it is not as easy as just coping a new worksheet with an exsisting comment.
thanks.
Hello, Mr. DominicB! How are you?
I've been using your program for quite a while now without any problems. But, since I got a new computer that came with 64bit windows, I'am not able to use it anymore. I am just wondering if you have a 64bit version of your program. I would greatly appreciate it if you can provide such a version. Your program has been an indespensible tool on my everyday office work.
Thanks very much!
All the best!
Regards,
Alain Garcia
