    Question How to make macro enabled worksheet functional in protected worksheet?

    Hi,

    I have a microsoft excel macro enabled - worksheet file. Currently, the macro enabled worksheet file works fine in the non protected worksheet mode. However, after I protected the worksheet it is not functional anymore. How can I solve this problem?

    Attached is a sample of the file. In this file, there are 2 worksheets i.e "Kiraan", "Nama" and "Sheet2". I have protected the "Kiraan" worksheet with password = "user123" while others are not protected.

    The worksheet "Kiraan" is not working as I expect it to work while the "Nama" worksheet is working fine.

    Hi,

    You need something like this for each worksheet event code.
    Sheets(2).Unprotect Password:="yourpassword"
    and at the end of the worksheet event code

    Sheets(2).Protect Password:="yourpassword"
    Charles

    There are other ways to do this, this is but 1 !
