I have a column of numbers in Excel and some of the numbers have an * in front of the number and some don't. I would like to use a macro to see if there is an * in front and if it is, place and "X" in the following cell and remove the *. I think my logic is correct for the If statement, but i am not sure of the syntax. What would my code need to be in the macro?
