    Formulating a List w/ labels / Lookup w/ duplicates

    Hello,

I have a database with owners and addresses, interest types, net area and interest in subsequent columns.

The owners are separated into groups for each type of interest.

I would like to somehow formulate (and therefore automate) the list of owners into a consolidated list for a mail merge.

The second thing I would like to formulate is the vlookup. I can use the vlookup fine for addresses and Int. columns (using if function based of type) but I haven't yet found a way to lookup the type when there are duplicates. You will notice in my sample that the lookup puts GI for the three owners that are listed in SI - I want this to yield the SI when the GI has already been looked up for these owners.

As I mentioned before, I can use the IF function based off the type column value for the Int, but if there's a quicker or different way to get this automated (similar to the Type column desired outcome) I'm interest in that as well.

The sample attached should help. Any assistance and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Money
