formulas in userform ? can't find any examples to learn from

Hi and thanks for reading !
I put together a mock workbook to demonstrate what i'm trying to accomplish...
I have a spreadsheet for my students scores per class, per day.

I want to have a userform that allows me to select a starting and ending date to take the average for each class. Seems easy enough. I've learned so much from this site in the past month I figured i'd give it anothe go. I can't find any examples of formulas in userforms, let alone ones calling on data from a sheet.
