Need formula to calculate an numerical amount

Hi, I need a formula that does the following (the formula will use the contents of cell E6 to calculate a total):

( (E6 X 2) + (14) ) X 1.10

For example: If contents of cell E6 were 10, then the formula would be ((10 X 2) + 14) X 1.10 which would equal 37.4.

Also, how do I apply that formula into another cell (D8) ?
